Segla is curated, not open upload. Every film on the platform was chosen by a person who watched it the whole way through, and that person puts their name on it. Here is how a film gets here.

    Submit a screener

    A link we can watch in a browser, with a password if it needs one. Any length, finished work only.

  2. 02

    A programmer watches it, within two weeks

    Start to finish, not the first two minutes. Dana, Elias or Wren, and you hear back either way, with what they thought.

  3. 03

    We program it, set a premiere, and your followers hear first

    A note goes up with the film, signed by whoever chose it. Your followers get the release the moment it goes live.

What we look for

  • Finished work. Not a rough cut, not a teaser.
  • Any length, any genre. Six minutes and ninety six both belong here.
  • Shorts, features, pilots and proofs of concept.
  • You own the rights, or you have permission from whoever does.
  • Subtitles if it is not in English. Burned in is fine.
